The most important things are

1) FUN things to do with the family (good restaurants, movies, shopping CLOSE BY) Preferably newer; not rundown

2) SAFETY!!! (low percentage of blacks…blacks = crime…duh! –look at Flint and Detroit…nasty!)

If schools aren’t great I will just send my future kids (if blessed with some) to private school or home school them.

So where is a good up and coming area that’s NEW and good for younger families???

Crime and Murder rates in America tend to correlate with the percentage of black population in cities.

I didn’t create the trend….but will follow it

I don’t think my race in superior to blacks so therefore I’m not ******.

Show me a safe city (Top 100) with majority (>50%) black and I’ll have no problem moving there.

You can suggest other cities besides the ones I mentioned. I was just giving examples of the area I’m looking at.

My husband just got an “atta boy” for doing extra work on a project from his employer and they told us to go where ever we want for dinner for two up to $100. I know that’s not a tremendous amount of money for dinner for two, but we usually don’t spend that much on a dinner out. I want it to be special and try not to go over the budget. My husband would prefer a steak dinner. I am good with steak or seafood. Also, our 8th anniversary is coming up in two weeks, so a romantic suggestion would be good. I too suggested the Melting Pot, but my dear husband was not in favor of that. My nephew used to work at Ruth Chris, so that was an option for us, too, but I have heard that it is easy to exceed the $100 for dinner for two there.

All great suggestions, and I thank you. Anyone want to include their favorite dish to order at said restaurants??
As for Kruse and Muer in Troy - tell me your favorite dish there and describe it to me.
