What do teen guys (14-16) like in girls? Is there any way other than “looking hot” and physical contact to get them to like you? I am a shy girl and am 14. In the recent study conducted by Allstate, it was revealed that the safest drivers in the United States reside in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. According to the “Allstate America’s Best Driver Report”, an average driver from Sioux Falls will be involved in a traffic accident every 13.7 years. This puts the city over the national average of 10 years. That means that Sioux Falls motorists are at risk of being involved in an accident 27 percent less than the rest of the country’s drivers.

“The fact that Sioux Falls drivers retained the standing as America’s safest drivers for two years in a row is an accomplishment for which all Sioux Falls residents should be proud,” Sioux Falls Mayor Dave Munson said. “The quality of our community driver education programs combined with the careful consideration of our traffic engineering department goes a long way to make our roadways safe for everyone.”

Last year, the largest city in South Dakota topped the same study. This shows that the city is indeed serious about maintaining their roads safe. Their driver education practices, as the city mayor said, pays dividend after being given the distinction that they have just received.

The study conducted by the country’s largest publicly held personal lines insurance company took into account the country’s 200 largest cities. The company gathers data from insurance claims across the country to come up with the winning city. The insurance firm currently holds approximately 12 percent of the country’s population in terms of insurance policies issued. This wide coverage gives credibility to the study which gave Sioux Falls the coveted title.

“The primary purpose of this study is to elevate the safe driving discussion by sharing Allstate’s report regarding motorists’ driving habits with the public,” says Mike Roche, the Senior Vice President for Allstate’s Claim Organization. “We hope that our findings can help shed light on communities with drivers that could be more tolerant and attentive behind the wheel as well as provide a platform to recognize cities with drivers that have collectively improved over time.”

Aside from naming Sioux Falls residents as the best drivers in the country regardless of the vehicle they drive, whether they are equipped with safety and performance parts such as Hawk parts, Allstate also named cities with “America’s Most Improved Motorists”. To determine the most improved motorists in the country, Allstate delved into similar studies for the past two years.

According to Allstate, the top five cities where motorists have improved with regards to avoiding accidents are from the state of Michigan. The country’s most improved motorists are from Flint, Michigan. Close behind Flint are the cities of Warren, Grand Rapids, Detroit, and Sterling Heights.

For Flint, Michigan, the number of years between accidents improved by 3.6 years. For Warren, Allstate reported an increase of 3.2 years. For Grand Rapids, the increase was 2.8 years. For the fourth most improved city, Detroit, the increase is at 2.7 years. Number five on the list of most improved cities is Sterling Heights with an increase of 2.3 years between accidents.

The Allstate Insurance Company provided free gas to motorists of Sioux Falls for topping their study. Motorists from the city obviously appreciate the free gas after the price of gasoline has skyrocketed in recent weeks.

The list below is designed to alert you to a possible danger in your community. Over the course of the last four years silentlambs has been a repository of reports on alleged Jehovah’s Witness child molesters. Victims have reported extensively on times, dates and places abuse occurred. We have wrestled with how to alert the public as well as members that may be in congregations where abusers have been reported.

We offer the following suggestions if you as a Jehovah’s Witness are in a town/congregation where a report has been made.

Do not allow your children to be alone with anyone in the congregation.
Escort your children to the bathroom during meetings and make sure no else is with them when using facilities.
Never allow your children to be alone in the car with anyone while in field service.
Do not allow any member to study with your child alone.
Avoid camping trips in which children go as a group with one or two adults.
Avoid baby sitters that are adult males.
At a get together watch your children and keep them in sight at all times.
Ask elders directly if they know of any abusers in your congregation, use specific names and note their reaction. They will not tell you directly but indirectly you can often figure out who it is. If one elder is less cooperative talk to another till you find out enough information to know the facts.
Check the local *** offender list in your area, type in the name of every person in your congregation to see if any are listed.
Notice any male member of the congregation that does not have privileges such as microphone or other duties around the congregation, especially if for a long period of time. They can offer talks on the TMS or sermons Service Meeting but are not allowed to conduct meetings. (This is only in case of a confessed child molester)
Note any member of the congregation that has children with sever rebellion or emotional problems.
Do not allow your children to have sleepovers with anyone.
Note members that the elders avoid having around their children.

If you are a member of the public and your community is on the list take the following steps to protect your family.

If Jehovah’s Witnesses call at your home never allow them in your home
If you do not wish Jehovah’s Witnesses to call at your home purchase a no trespassing sign and place it near your door. JW’s are instructing to only respect “no trespassing” signs any other variation will be ignored.
If you do not wish Jehovah’s Witnesses to call you can also call the local number and ask to be placed on the “do not call” list. They will note your home and check about once a year to make sure you wish to remain on the list.
If you choose to study with Jehovah’s Witnesses do so at a neutral location such as the local Kingdom Hall or in a public place.
Never allow your child to be alone with members or their children.
If you choose to attend meetings with Jehovah’s Witnesses then we suggest you follow the guidelines above for members.
Remember that most members are not aware of who the molesters are in their congregation according to church policy. They do not know.
If two Jehovah’s Witnesses call at your door one could be a child molester. According to church guidelines all confessed child molesters are required to have a partner when going door to door. If two Jehovah’s Witnesses appear at your door you might wish to ask if one or both are child molesters for peace of mind. Of course keep in mind if the person is an accused child molester they are allowed to work alone in the door to door work.

We hope this information is helpful and assists with the ultimate goal of silentlambs, protecting children. Check back as the list is updated on a regular basis.
